But maybe you have pinned down the platonic form, which can be extrapolated from your examples: a good audience question is one that has more than one “obvious” answer. And the platonic form of a good audience question would be one that elicits an antinomy — a contradiction in which both sides can be rationally defended. Those are also the best jokes :).
